Highgate Hotels L.P. in San Francisco seeks an experienced Controller to lead finance for the portfolio, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on profitability, cash flow, and safeguarding owners’ assets.

You will oversee budgeting, variance analysis, and capital planning while guiding staff through processes and standards across multiple hotels in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in hotel accounting or related field, or 2+ years with a 4-year degree in accounting/finance.
• Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and hotel-specific systems.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and leadership abilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage cash flow statements, receivables, payables, and cash balances with control mechanisms.
• Monitor hotel revenues/expenses and analyze variances against budget or prior year.
• Assist capital planning and monitor scope of work and ROI on improvements.
• Ensure regulatory licenses, permits, leases, and taxes compliance.
• Prepare timely financial reports and maintain internal controls.
• Recruit, train, and develop accounting staff; participate in MOD coverage.
