Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to provide leadership in the hotel’s financial operations. The role focuses on profitability, timely financial reporting, and compliance with regulations, while safeguarding owners’ assets.

Key duties include managing cash flow, monitoring hotel revenues, preparing budgets, and leading internal controls and audits. The candidate will supervise and develop staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial activities across the property.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience in hotels or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with Accounting/Finance concentration or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cash flow management and monthly financial statements.
• Monitor revenues/expenses and ensure accurate recording.
• Prepare budgets and variance analysis.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls.
• Coordinate audits with CPA firms.
• Manage and develop accounting staff.
