Highgate Hotels, LP seeks a Complex Controller for Best Western Honolulu, HI. The role oversees hotel accounting, cash flow, and regulatory compliance to maximize asset value and profitability. You will lead the accounting team, ensure timely financial reporting, and support management with financial analysis.

The position requires extensive hotel accounting experience, strong financial controls, and the ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of related progressive experience in hotel Accounting or related field.
• Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing and in the operation of all hotel-specific systems.
• Physical requirements include long hours and sedentary work with light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a staff of accounting professionals while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, receivables and payables, and ensure timely deposits of funds.
• Monitor revenues and expenses, prepare monthly/annual financial statements and forecasts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls across hotel financial operations.
• Prepare and present financial reports to executive leadership and owners.

Education

4-year college degree with Accounting/ Finance concentration

2-year college degree with 4 years experience
