Hilton Richmond Downtown is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations of the property, ensuring safety and full operability. You will manage building systems, preventive maintenance, repairs, and the engineering team to support guest satisfaction and efficiency.

The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, plus leadership, vendor management, and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience: 4–6 years in hotel/facility maintenance; supervisory experience required.
• Skills: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety; strong leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations and building systems for the hotel.
• Lead and schedule engineering staff; provide training and feedback.
• Maintain PM program; ensure safety compliance and log records.
• Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and service agreements.
• Monitor inventory and assist with budget and capital projects.
