The role covers project management, life safety system testing, equipment repairs, and compliance with local codes, while driving guest satisfaction through reliable service and proactive facility care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school coursework preferred.
• Previous supervisory engineer/maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Other certifications may be required based on local needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead interview, selection, training, scheduling, and coaching of maintenance staff.
• Manage bids, quotes, and contracts for 3rd party vendors.
• Oversee small projects and Property Improvement Plans and report progress.
• Perform and supervise sheetrock repair, painting, furniture refinishing, and fixture replacements.
• Troubleshoot kitchen equipment and HVAC pumps; install televisions.
• Maintain PM records and test life safety systems to 100% operation.
• Coordinate service contracts to meet codes.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal following sustainability guidelines.
• Uphold safe work practices per MSDS and OSHA; enhance guest satisfaction.
