HHM Hotels in Bethesda, MD invites applications for an Engineer responsible for preventative and repair maintenance, ensuring quality and sustainability standards while delivering warm guest service. You will grow through positions from Engineering Supervisor to Chief Engineer, with responsibilities spanning inspections, repairs, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and guest-focused maintenance.

Requirements include a High School diploma with trade school coursework; prior engineer/maintenance

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred with trade school coursework in a related field.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures, switches, receptacles and lighting.
• Repair furniture and appliances as needed.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records and work orders.
• Perform work in accordance with local, state and Federal codes.
