Job summary

Ashford Inc. in Frisco, TX is seeking an experienced Hotel Engineering Lead to ensure the property runs smoothly and meets all engineering standards.

You will conduct routine walk-throughs, oversee maintenance of building systems, and maintain preventive maintenance records while collaborating with hotel leadership, including the General Manager. Requirements include hotel engineering experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building construction; ability to read blueprints; strong

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, commercial kitchen and general building construction.
• Read and interpret drawings/blueprints and test equipment.
• Strong business communication skills verbal and written.
• Flexible to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel is in great working order and meets all engineering standards.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Maintain Rooms and Public Area Preventive Maintenance Program and records.
• Collaborate with hotel management and General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates and managers.
• Ensure grounds are maintained to provide a great arrival experience.
• Implement safety policies and emergency procedures per OSHA Hazcom.
