Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a Director of Capital Projects to oversee engineering, maintenance and capital initiatives at Hilton Phoenix at The Peak. You will lead renovation programs, life-safety upgrades and operational improvements with cross-functional partners.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong budgeting, and the ability to balance long-term capital planning with day-to-day resort needs. Collaboration with ownership, architects, and contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership overseeing hotel maintenance and facility operations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM/Architecture/Engineering; 10 years may substitute.
• Strong communication with General Managers, ownership, investors and vendors.
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of architectural, electrical, mechanical systems and contracts.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.
• Experience with project management or cost-tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the hotel's Engineering team and oversee capital projects.
• Plan, budget and oversee renovation and capital improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, timelines and cost control across projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and coordinate with architects/contractors.
• Manage documentation, schedules, and vendor/contract negotiations.
