Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Director of Finance for the Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead the hotel’s financial operations, provide ethical leadership, and drive profitability through accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

This on-site role requires strategic budgeting, cash-flow management, and collaboration with the EC Team to optimize capital projects while ensuring compliance with all regulations and Crescent standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel accounting and finance with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with financial reporting in a hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the “Chief Business Officer” to the GM and EC Team, evaluating the financial impact on decisions.
• Ensure management is promptly notified of financial deviations from policies and control weaknesses.
• Effectively manage cash flow, prepare cash-flow statements, receivables, cash balances and deposits.
• Monitor revenues and expenses, investigate variances, and propose practical improvement strategies.
• Coordinate forecasts and budgets with EC Team and department managers for accurate planning.
• Audit and maintain internal controls covering purchasing, cash handling, payroll, inventories, and assets.
• Hire, train, and develop finance staff and plan for promotable future leaders.

Education

A minimum of 8 years of related progressive experience in hotel Accounting and/or Finance.
