Job summary

Lexima is seeking a dependable Part-Time Line Cook for The Courtyard by Marriott Wichita at Old Town. The role requires preparing breakfast items, following recipes, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

You will assist with daily prep, setup, and line maintenance, manage food levels, and help minimize waste while maintaining presentation and quality. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and menu items per recipes and standards.
• Work efficiently during busy periods while preserving quality and presentation.
• Complete daily prep and assist with setup and maintenance of the line.
• Check food levels and prepare items for each shift.
• Label, date, store, and rotate food products properly.
• Monitor temperatures and keep the kitchen clean and safe.
• Minimize waste through proper prep, storage, and portioning.
• Assist with buffet setup and maintain food levels during service.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment and work areas.
