Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Wichita at Old Town is seeking a Part-Time Bistro Server to join the Food & Beverage team. The role focuses on morning breakfast service, coffee, and breakfast items, while keeping the Bistro clean and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, serving beverages, assisting with basic food prep, operating the POS system, and supporting opening/closing duties. A friendly, dependable, and guest-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Food handler certification as required by local regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced morning environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and breakfast items.
• Assist with basic food preparation and presentation.
• Set up and maintain the Bistro and breakfast service areas.
• Keep food and beverage stations stocked during the morning.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain a clean and organized Bistro.
• Operate the POS system and accurately handle guest payments.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Respond to guest questions and requests in a professional manner.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team and hotel staff.
