Job Summary
- Complete opening/closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
- Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Maintain great guest contact with smiles and exceed their expectations at every opportunity.
Guest Service
- Maintain a kind and courteous demeanor.
- Provide a pleasant experience to all guests and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Handle guest complaints according to company policies.
Food Safety
- Follow sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and proper uniform.
Teamwork and Communication
- Work effectively with others in a positive manner.
- Assist team members and new associates as needed.
- Report issues promptly to supervisors.
- Assist in other departments as required.
Stock Control
- Receive and stock supplies according to policy.
- Lift up to 50 pounds following proper procedures.
- Ensure workspace is clean and organized.
- Manage damaged/out-of-date stock appropriately.
- Follow portion control to minimize loss.
Security & Loss Prevention
- Maintain control of workspace and contents.
- Secure premises during closing.
Cleanliness
- Maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Clean guest rooms and public areas as assigned.
Occupational Health & Safety
- Perform duties safely to protect all parties and the environment.
- Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Physically capable of standing for long hours.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Willing to cover shifts as needed.
- Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Pass background check.
