Job summary

Sleep Inn & Suites - Devils Lake is seeking a weekend breakfast attendant to warmly welcome guests and ensure a memorable dining experience.

You will set up and break down the breakfast buffet each morning, keep items stocked, refill drinks, and assist guests with requests while maintaining a clean, sanitary buffet area. Previous food service experience is preferred, with a focus on exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Remove plates and dishes promptly during breakfast service.

• Disinfect and clean service lines and beverage dispensers following health procedures.

Job description

We're looking for a weekend breakfast attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked.

Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about customer service and has experience working in a food service role.

Compensation: $15 hourly

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Food service industry experience is highly desired
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills with diners and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
• Sanitize and ensure cleanliness of all buffet bar areas, including tables and chairs, and empty trash as needed
• Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures
