Job summary

GF Hotels & Resorts is seeking a breakfast attendant to deliver a memorable dining experience for guests. You will set up and breakdown the breakfast buffet, stock fruits, breads, cereals, and bakery items, and assist with coffee and beverages.

The ideal candidate has prior food service experience, excellent communication, and a guest-first attitude, with strong organizational skills to keep service running smoothly during busy mornings.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations.
• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service.
• Ensure the breakfast buffet is fully set up and refreshed with fresh items during service hours.
• Clean the breakfast area and empty garbage as needed.
• Serve guests with food and drink orders and replenish as necessary.

Job description

We're looking for a breakfast attendant with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning while ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well stocked. Additional responsibilities include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about customer service and has experience working in a food service role.

Compensation: $15.16 - $15.60 hourly

Qualifications

• Experience working in food service is preferred
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)

Responsibilities

• Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations
• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly
• Make sure that the breakfast buffet is fully set up each morning and that fresh items are always offered throughout service hours
• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage
• Serve guests with food and drink orders while they are in the dining area and replenish as necessary
