Job summary

Hyatt Place Boston / Braintree is seeking a friendly beverage server to greet guests, mix drinks, and ensure a welcoming bar experience. You will maintain bar setup, stock garnishes, and handle orders with accuracy.

This role requires strong guest communication, basic food and beverage knowledge, cash handling skills, and the stamina to stand for long periods. The hotel offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Basic math skills to operate a cash register and balance transactions.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle garnishes, glassware and utensils.
• Ability to memorize and promote menu items.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate bar setup and stock of beverages and supplies.
• Greet guests, take orders, mix and garnish drinks using standard recipes.
• Input orders at POS and balance cash transactions accurately.
• Lock and store beverage and equipment items; deposit cash drops.
• Adhere to all state and corporate alcohol-service requirements.
• Perform other bartending duties as assigned.
