Job summary

Hyatt Place Boston / Braintree is seeking a Bar/Restaurant Server to greet guests, prepare and garnish drinks, and maintain the bar setup. You will handle orders, ensure accurate billing, and uphold safety and service standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires hotel or guest-service experience, excellent communication, basic math and beverage knowledge, and the ability to stand for long periods while delivering friendly, attentive service.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience and guest service skills are required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Basic math skills to operate a cash register and make change.
• Dexterity to handle garnishes, glasses, and stock.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily bar setup and stock garnishes, juices and perishables.
• Greet guests, take and present drink orders, and ensure accurate preparation.
• Process orders through POS, balance money, and handle cash transactions.
• Adhere to all state, federal and corporate alcohol-service regulations.
• Collaborate with team and ensure efficient guest service.
