Job summary

Shaner Group is seeking a restaurant server in Marathon, FL to provide courteous dining service and beverage delivery in a hotel setting. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments while maintaining the dining area.

Occasional weekend shifts and holidays are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Training in ServSafe and TIPS helps ensure safety and quality standards are met daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
• State age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to communicate with guests, management and coworkers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training.
• Alcohol awareness training (TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food and beverages to guest tables.
• Retrieve and deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per hotel specs.
• Collect payments and assist in maintaining restaurant area and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures by Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintain food and beverage safety and quality per specifications.
• Communicate with General Manager and department staff.
