Aimbridge Hospitality LLC is seeking an Area Sales Manager OEM for the Courtyard Chicago Schaumburg. Located in Schaumburg, IL, this full-time role drives sales and revenue for a portfolio of 2–10 hotels by soliciting new accounts and coordinating with hotel leadership to achieve market share.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and a proactive sales approach, with responsibilities across Leisure, SMERF, BT, and Groups as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with at least 2 years Hotel Sales experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Must possess developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate, convince, sell and influence other managerial personnel, hotel guest(s) and/or corporate clients.
• Experience with professional selling skills desired: opening, probing, supporting, closing
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge especially Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; strong organization and presentation skills

Responsabilités

• Attain assigned sales and revenue goals for the hotels.
• Conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients for Leisure, SMERF, BT and/or Groups.
• Grow relationships with assigned accounts.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends.
• Maintain guest and employee engagement with courteous service.
• Adhere to standards and metrics, learn hotel operations and policies.
• Maintain visibility in local community and industry groups.
• Assist in promotions and sales initiatives.
• Attend meetings and perform other duties as required by management.
