La Colombe d’Or Hotel and Tonight & Tomorrow Restaurant seeks a Hotel Ambassador to enhance guest experiences from check-in to departure. You will greet guests, handle requests, and coordinate dining and minibar services within a luxury setting.

The role requires professional communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage reservations, inquiries, and safety procedures in a high-end environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests entering La Colombe d’Or and escort to the appropriate area.
• Be present on the lobby floor and greet guests by name in public areas and while handling requests.
• Speak to guests with clear, professional, and respectful language at all times.
• Efficiently check-in and check-out guests, process payments, apply credits, and use the Property Management System accurately.
• Handle guest inquiries and special arrangements with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Take in-room dining calls and orders with in-depth knowledge of food and beverage menus.
• Maintain hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist guests with hotel services inquiries, hours, events, directions, etc.
• Answer phone calls to place reservations, promote and upsell hotel services, amenities, and packages.
• Keep the front of house clean and organized to reflect luxury standards.
• Uphold security and privacy standards to ensure guest safety and confidentiality.
• Foster a friendly, professional, luxury-oriented atmosphere for guests.
• Be familiar with emergency procedures, safety, and critical thinking.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting and reporting hazards promptly.
• Assist guests with restaurant reservations and seating arrangements
• Re-stock minibar for guest rooms

Job Purpose:

The Hotel Ambassador assists guests with overall guestexperience. All team members at La Colombe d’Or will anticipate guests’ needsand assist throughout their stay as needed to ensure they enjoy a memorablestay.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the welcome of all guests that enter La Colombe d’Or, escortingthem to the appropriate area.
• Be presenton the lobby floor and warmly interact with all guests using guest names,including in public areas and while completing guest requests and tasks.
• Speak toguests with clear, professional, and respectful language always.
• Efficiently check-in and check-out guests, handling payments, applying credits,and accurately using the Property Management System.

• Takein-room dining calls and orders, demonstrating in dept knowledge of food andbeverage menus.

• Assistscustomers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours ofoperations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.

Working conditions:

Office,professional work environment with a combination of indoors and some exposureto outdoors.

Capacityto safely lift and carry items between 10 to 35 pounds.

Non-permanent work schedule, schedule is flexible depending on businesslevels and occupancy.

Essentialphysical requirement of sitting and standing for long periods of time, stoopingand typing.

Walking, using stairs, bending, and squatting.
