La Colombe d'Or Hotel and Tonight & Tomorrow Restaurant is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping operations in assigned sections, inspect guestrooms for cleanliness, and assist Room Attendants as needed. The role also requires providing necessary training and stepping in for the Housekeeping Manager in their absence.

The candidate should have 2–3 years of progressive hotel experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to lead a team and ensure exceptional guest service

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate housekeeping activities in assigned sections to ensure standards are met.
• Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and order; train and assist Room Attendants as needed.
• Oversee daily staffing, duties distribution, and cleanliness; maintain supplies and records.
• In the absence of the Housekeeping Manager, perform all managerial functions and report to Guest Services Manager.

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for administeringand coordinating housekeeping functions in assigned sections. Responsible forinspecting Guest Rooms and ensuring they are cleaned up to standards assistRoom Attendants as needed provide necessary training. Responsible for assumingall Housekeeping Manager functions in his/her absence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Atleast 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related fieldrequired.

• Collegecourse work in related field helpful.
• Previoussupervisory responsibility preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approachall encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-orientedmanner.
• Maintainregular attendance in compliance with La Colombe d'Or Restaurant and HotelLLC, standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to theneeds of the hotel.
• Maintainhigh standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearingthe proper uniform when working.
• Alwayscomply with La Colombe d'Or restaurant and Hotel, LLC . standards andregulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Inspectstaff's work performance within assigned section daily to ensure thatstandards and productivity levels are being met and maintained.
• In theabsence of the Housekeeping Manager inspect all V.I.P. rooms and reporttheir availability to the Front Office.
• Overseethe organized closing of the floors at the end of the day ensuring theRoom Attendants' carts are clean and restocked with linen only.
• Ensurerecords of daily assignments are completed signed off on and turned intothe Housekeeping Office on time.
• Maintainkey control system.
• Superviseall staff in Housekeeping, holding them accountable and responsible fortheir work performance.
• Submitproper documentation regarding poor work performance, misconduct,excessive absenteeism lateness and improper attire.
• Handleitems for 'Lost and Found' according to the standards.
• Befamiliar with all La Colombe d'Or Restaurant and Hotel, LLC policies andRules.
• Ensurethat associates are always attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous toall guests, managers and other associates.
• Ensurethe overall appearance, cleanliness and orderliness of staff.
• Overseethe daily assignment of duties ensuring each Room Attendant and HousePerson carries a work assignment.
• Monitorcleanliness and orderliness of Room Attendants' carts linen closetscontrol closets stairways and landings.
• Reporton progress of all out-of-order rooms under the Housekeeping Department'ssupervision to the Guest Services Manager daily.
• Initiatework orders for repairs and maintenance for doors plumbing heating/airelectrical equipment furniture carpets drapes etc. Follow through on eachwork order until completed.
• Overseeproper and constructive training of Room Attendants.
• Motivatecoach and counsel staff as necessary.
• Collectall keys and assignment sheets daily at the end of the shift.
• Attendmeetings as required by Management.
• Monitorall V.I.P.'s special guests and requests.
