Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Boston is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to print, prepare and mail statements for outstanding accounts, answer inquiries and maintain accurate records. The role supports finance across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Banquets, ensuring timely billing and documentation.

The ideal candidate has United States work authorization and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Print, prepare and mail statements for outstanding accounts at least twice per week.
• Answer guest and credit card inquiries concerning accounts and prepare adjustments when necessary.
• Prepare and maintain complete, accurate records for all outstanding accounts as directed by the Accounting Manager.
• Assist in verifying that Rooms, Food and Beverage, Banquet, and other revenues are captured and posted correctly.
• Review group and catering contracts, understand billing arrangements and deposits/prepayments.
• Coordinate supporting documentation among Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, Payroll and other Finance functions.
• Assist Credit team with duties including obtaining references, collecting outstanding accounts, and attending pre/post meetings with planners.
• Review and reconcile 3rd party billing and gratuity for accurate capture and payment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Accounting Manager.
