Job summary

OnTrac in Lebanon, TN is hiring for a full-time driver role with a $31.00 per hour pay. The position requires standing a standard shift Sunday through Wednesday, driving experience with trailers, and passing all pre-employment screenings.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, position trailers, and coordinate movements with management to ensure efficient dock operations while adhering to DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or 1 year related experience/training.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment per the Company Safety Program.
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT standards.
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.
• Switch trailers during daily sort and hook up sets for line hauls.
• Communicate trailer moves and numbers with operations management.

The Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both
• Minimum 1-year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background checks
• Must be at least 18 years old, possess a clean driving record, valid identification and be able to pass a TSA screening
• Must be able to provide a 5-year to 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

The Responsibilities:
