The primary responsibility of the Host/Hostess is to welcome our guests when they arrive in the restaurant and start them off with a positive dining experience. Hosts/Hostesses must work quickly and efficiently on tasks to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests and should consistently show hospitality while maintaining a positive attitude toward co‑workers.

Responsibilities

• Seat restaurant guests fairly and consistently to maintain customer service standards.
• Have knowledge of the menu and all products served, including beverages and daily specials.
• Handle cash transactions with customers and collect payments.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change, and tickets.

Team and Guest Relations

• Provide excellent guest service to all guests and ensure the same for all team members.
• Perform guest service duties as requested.
• Maintain a fast pace for customer service needs.
• Be a team player and proactively assist other colleagues.

Skills / Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods of time.
