Silver Reef Craft and Kitchen in St. George, UT is seeking a dynamic Front of House Lead. You will oversee a fast-paced front-of-house team, delivering exceptional hospitality while maintaining service standards and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years in bartending/serving with leadership experience, expertise in cocktails, beer, and wine, and strong people skills to train and guide staff. In-person, full-time position with benefits and flexible shifts including inventory days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• 2+ years bartending or serving with 1 year leadership in high-volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairing.
• Able to educate team and customers on beer styles, pairings, and brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and inventory-count days.
• Able to work holidays.
• Able to obtain Utah Food Handlers Permit and Utah DABS Card.
• Background check and drug test required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Front of House Lead who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality at Silver Reef Craft and Kitchen. In this hands-on role, you will combine expert service skills with the responsibility of leading and supporting the front-of-house team. The ideal candidate leads by example, sets a high standard of service, and inspires those around them, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.

Work Location

In-person in St. George, UT. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring efficiency, timing, and guest satisfaction.
• Support and guide servers, bartenders, and hosts during service to maintain a cohesive and professional team dynamic.
• Lead by example through professionalism, teamwork, and poise under pressure.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, cash handling, and shift reporting.
• Assist with inventory counts, monitor inventory, and coordinate with management on restocking and ordering needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment across all guest-facing areas.
• Support new team members through training, guidance, and ongoing professional development.
• Reinforce company values and service standards, fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork.

Skills / Experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• At least two years of bartending or serving experience, with one year in a leadership or shift lead capacity in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong working knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairing.
• Ability to educate team members and customers on beer styles, pairings, and brewing methods.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends.
• Must be available to work evening shifts on designated inventory count days.
• Must have the flexibility to work holidays as necessary.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Utah DABS Card.
• The ability to submit to a background check and drug test is required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to kneel and bend to obtain items near or on the floor.
• Ability to work outdoors less than 25% of the time.
• Hearing, vision, speech, and literacy skills are critical to this position.
• Ability to work in environments that are smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid.
• Must have the ability to carry service trays overhead and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
