The Hotel Hershey is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to greet and seat guests in the restaurant, coordinate reservations, and respond to inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale computer and calculator.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.
• Professional image and strong guest relations, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival and seating guests according to requests and server rotation.
• Completing opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges.
• Coordinating reservations and seating charts.
• Answering telephones.
• Overseeing service, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality.

The Hotel Hershey is situated high atop the town of Hershey and has 326 guest rooms, including 19 Villas with 98 luxury sleeping rooms, as well as 25,000 square feet of meeting and function space. This position will greet and seat guests while coordinating guest reservations and responding to inquiries in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job)

• Greeting guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seating guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation*
• Completing opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges*
• Coordinating reservations and seating charts*
• Answering telephones*
• Overseeing service, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality. Responding to guests' questions, requests and concerns.*
• Perform other duties as assigned
