Job summary

Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to support guest service in the restaurant. This role emphasizes a warm, professional image and strong guest relations as part of the Hershey entertainment family.

You'll greet guests, assist with seating, handle opening/closing tasks including cash handling, coordinate reservations, respond to questions, and help maintain safety and sanitation. Perks include free admission and parking to Hersheypark with an employee ID.

Qualifications

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Greet guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seat guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation*

Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges*

Coordinate reservations and seating charts, answer telephones; and oversee service, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality*

Respond to guests' questions, requests, and concerns*

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to operate point-of-sale computer and calculator.

Proven employee/guest relations, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Professional image representative of company image.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.

Job Demands:

Physical requirements include standing (up to 100% of shift), walking, bending, stooping, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity.

The ability to communicate effectively in a loud environment.

Ability to work a flexible eight-hour shift, breakfast, lunch, or dinner including weekends and holidays.
