Job summary

Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to deliver warm, friendly guest service in our dining outlets. This role supports restaurant management in overseeing guest satisfaction and smooth service while embracing the sweet Hershey hospitality.

Key duties include greeting guests, seating them per requests and rotation, handling cash and POS operations, coordinating reservations, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale computer and calculator.
• Proven employee/guest relations, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Professional image representative of company image.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seat guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges.
• Coordinate reservations and seating charts, answer telephones; and oversee service, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality.
• Respond to guests' questions, requests, and concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Demands:

• Physical requirements include standing (up to 100% of shift), walking, bending, stooping, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity.
• The ability to communicate effectively in a loud environment.
• Ability to work a flexible eight-hour shift, breakfast, lunch, or dinner including weekends and holidays.
