Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking a part-time team member to support a friendly restaurant service environment at Hershey Lodge. You will greet guests, seat them, handle cash, and assist with daily operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, cash handling, resolving guest questions, and maintaining service standards in a busy, family-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale computer and calculator.
• Proven employee/guest relations, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Professional image representative of company image.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and seat guests per requests and server rotation.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges.
• Coordinate reservations and seating charts; answer telephones; oversee service, safety, and sanitation.
• Respond to guests' questions, requests, and concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Greet guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seat guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation*

Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges*

Coordinate reservations and seating charts, answer telephones; and oversee service, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality*

Respond to guests' questions, requests, and concerns*

Perform other duties as assigned

Physical requirements include standing (up to 100% of shift), walking, bending, stooping, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity.

Ability to work a flexible eight-hour shift, breakfast, lunch, or dinner including weekends and holidays.
