Job summary

The Hotel Hershey, a luxury resort in Hershey, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Team Member. The role supports restaurant operations, greets and seats guests, handles reservations, answers phones, and assists with service, safety, and guest concerns.

You’ll work a flexible eight-hour shift, including weekends and holidays, with perks for employees. Physical requirements include standing and walking, with emphasis on guest relations and cash handling.

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

• Greeting guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seating guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job)

• Greeting guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seating guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation*

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to operate point-of-sale computer and calculator.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.
• Proven employee/guest relations, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Professional image representative of company image.

Job Demands

• Physical requirements include standing (up to 100% of shift), walking, bending, stooping, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity.
• The ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work a flexible eight-hour shift according to operational needs, including weekends and holidays.
