Job summary

Cactus Petes Resort Casino in Jackpot, NV is seeking an entry-level restaurant associate to deliver exceptional guest service and handle cash and POS transactions. You will greet and seat guests, take payments, and help manage dining room flow with a focus on accuracy and hospitality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide guest services for guests of the restaurant.
• Receive cash or credit card from customers in payment for goods or services.
• Computes bill on POS System or adding machine, makes change, and issues receipt.
• May be required to know value of menu items.
• May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
• Greets and seats patrons.
• Coordinates and controls the flow of the Restaurant.
• Assigns stations to servers and bus persons .
• Supervises the restaurant during the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager.
• Interacts between Service Staff and Patrons when difficult situations arise.
• Ensures that Service Quality and Standards are followed .
• Answer telephone in a professional manner.
