Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months experience as a server in a dining establishment preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Able to operate a point of sale (POS) System and/or adding machine and make change.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Able to work varied shifts and hours.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and pleasant disposition in a timely manner.
• Take guest's orders and input the order into the computer accurately.
• Observe and anticipate guest's needs, keep table cleared between courses, and beverages filled.
• Present check for payment when all guest needs have been met.
• Complete assigned side work and additional daily tasks.
• Serve Food and Beverages to guests in a quick, efficient and courteous manner.
• Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and address issues promptly.
• Inform the Assistant Restaurant Manager if situations arise with guests or team members.

• Greet guests with a smile and pleasant disposition in a timely manner .
• Must be familiar with menu, daily specials, and preparation of foods and prices.
• Use suggestive selling (i.e., cocktails, appetizers, desserts, etc.).
• Take guest's orders and accurately input the order into the computer.
• Observe and anticipate guest's needs, keeping table cleared between courses, and beverages filled throughout their meal.
• Present check for payment when all guest needs have been met.
• Complete assigned side work and additional daily tasks.
• Serve table completely, using trays and covers on food, serving all sides and accompaniments in a timely , efficient manner according to all standards and sequence of service.
• Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems, immediately notifying the Assistant Restaurant Manager on duty.
• Inform immediate Assistant Restaurant Manager if situations arise with guests or fellow team members that cannot be handled directly.
• S erve Food and Beverages to guests in a quick, efficient and courteous manner.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Six (6) months experience as a server in a dining establishment preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Able to operate a point of sale (POS) System and/or adding machine and make change .
• Must have basic math skills.
• Adequate mathematical skills and the ability to understand and utilize a POS system/count money and provide change.
• Able to work varied shifts and hours.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
