The Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood is seeking a friendly Host/Greeter to welcome guests, manage reservations, and guide guests to their tables. You will work in a luxury setting with a focus on exceptional guest service and efficiency.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, answering calls, and assisting with inquiries while maintaining professional conduct in a fast-paced environment. Excellent English communication and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Luxury hotel/fine dining experience preferred.
• High volume, fast-paced work environment experience preferred.
• Aloha experience is a plus.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.
• Food Handlers card is required.
• Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a plus.
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification is a plus.
• Proficient in English- verbal and written.
• Flexible work availability- all shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary

The Host/Greeter is responsible for providing prompt, friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all restaurant guests while creating a memorable experience by greeting, escorting/directing guests, providing accurate information, and responding to inquiries, requests, and concerns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Luxury hotel/fine dining experience preferred.
• High volume, fast-paced work environment experience preferred.
• Aloha experience is a plus.
• Open Table experience is a plus.
• Food Handlers card is required.
• Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) Certification is a plus.
