Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Host/Hostess to warmly greet guests, take reservations, and seat patrons with timely, friendly service in our restaurant team. You will help manage wait lists, communicate with staff, and ensure a welcoming environment for guests and visitors.

This role emphasizes courteous communication, teamwork, and adherence to company policies. Prior hospitality experience is a plus, and a positive, guest-first attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system.
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion.
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests.
• Manage inventory of tables available.
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables.
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook.
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy.
