Description

General Summary: A Host is responsible for directing guest traffic in the restaurant, managing all payment transactions, and securing the cash drawer. The position reports to the General Manager and requires minimal supervision.

Requirements

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Greets and seats guests, reads and uses the seating chart and waitlist.
2. Knowledgeable about Rib Crib products, preparation methods, portion sizes, and prices; able to discuss with customers in person or over the phone.
3. Answers phone calls, determines call purpose, and directs calls accordingly. Handles call-in orders and catering questions.
4. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the cashier stand and restrooms.
5. Performs stocking for the to-go station and packages to-go orders.
6. Records and analyzes cash flow, including opening, operating, and closing duties.
7. Willing to assume any responsibility or task to support team culture ('shift to assist').
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
