Overview

Host role at RibCrib

Location: Bartlesville, OK

General Summary

A Host is accountable for directing the traffic flow of guests in the restaurant, handling all payment transactions, and ensuring the security of the cash drawer. The position reports to the General Manager and requires minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

1. Greet and seat guests; read and use the seating chart and wait list.
2. Be knowledgeable about Rib Crib products served, general preparation methods, portion sizes, and prices; discuss with customers in person or over the phone.
3. Answer phone calls, determine the nature of the call, direct calls to appropriate persons, take call-in orders, and answer catering questions when necessary.
4. Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the cashier stand and restroom maintenance.
5. Stock the to-go station and package to-go orders.
6. Record and analyze cash flow, including opening, running, and closing duties.
7. Demonstrate a willingness to assume any responsibility or perform any task to support teamwork, and perform other duties as assigned.
