Job summary

Snooze Kierland in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage the waitlist, seat diners promptly, and support the front of house. You’ll help keep the dining area organized, assist with phones and take-out orders, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and able to work a standing shift with the POS and iPad systems. The role offers weekly pay and a benefits package including health insurance, a 401(k), and a birthday meal.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Experience with front-of-house duties and guest service preferred.
• Familiarity with POS and iPad systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome guests and thank them on departure.
• Seat guests promptly and manage the waitlist with the iPad system.
• Answer phones and input to-go orders into the POS.
• Inspect restrooms every 30 minutes and refresh as needed.
• Assist servers with food delivery and bussing tables.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn't just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and e effectivly manage the waitlist iPad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• A nswer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)

• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
