Job summary

Snooze Montrose is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, maintain the host stand and waitlist, seat guests promptly, and help keep the dining area clean and organized during breakfast service.

You’ll work on-site in Houston, earn $14-$17 per hour with weekly pay and a benefits package, including insurance options and 401(k); growth opportunities are available for motivated team players in a busy, fun restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Stand for long periods during shifts (up to 9 hours).
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 20 pounds safely.
• Must be at least 17 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.
• Prior experience in hospitality is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave.
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and manage the waitlist with iPad system.
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Respond to Guest requests and communicate them to the Server as needed.
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
