Job summary

Snooze Laguna Niguel is seeking a friendly and energetic Host to welcome guests, manage the waitlist, and ensure a smooth dining room flow in a fast-paced breakfast restaurant.

You will greet guests, seat them promptly, handle to-go orders, and assist teammates with service while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Able to stand for up to 9 hours and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave.
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist iPad system.
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests; communicate with Server as needed.
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Is This Role For you?

• familiar with basic knowledge of Snooze service
• familiar with POS and iPad systems
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Required Certification (Must obtain prior to employment):

• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment, including but not limited to California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification that meets the state’s standards.
