Snooze Overland Park is hiring a Host to greet guests, manage the waiting list, and support the restaurant flow. This role offers a strong team environment with daytime shifts and opportunities to grow within a fast-paced breakfast concept.

You’ll be the friendly face that starts the Snooze experience for every guest, helping maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring efficient seating and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing host with ability to welcome guests.
• Familiar with Snooze service and POS / iPad systems.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outdoor patio area.
• Welcome guests and thank them as they depart.
• Seat guests promptly and manage the waitlist with the iPad system.
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and enter into POS.
• Keep restrooms clean and refreshed every 30 minutes.
• Communicate guest requests to servers and assist with bussing/delivery.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patioarea
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when theyleave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlistIpad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Is This Role For you?

Hosts at Snooze are fun, energetic, eager, and a committed team member familiar with basic knowledge of Snooze service familiar with POS and iPad systems able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours) able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US Prior experience recommended, not required

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
