Job summary

Snooze is hiring a Host to warmly welcome guests, seat them promptly, manage the wait list on the iPad, and help with to-go orders and bussing tables. The role keeps you in a fast-paced, morning-bright breakfast environment.

Expect a friendly team, no late nights, weekly pay, a $15 per shift breakfast allowance, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k). Must be able to stand for up to 9 hours and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome guests and thank them as they leave.
• Seat guests promptly and manage waitlist on iPad.
• Answer phones and handle to-go orders in the POS system.
• Inspect restrooms and keep them refreshed every 30 minutes.
• Assist with food delivery and bussing tables as needed.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Is This Role For you?

• fun, energetic, eager, and a committed team member
• familiar with basic knowledge of Snooze service
• familiar with POS and iPad systems
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
