Job summary

Snooze-An-Am-Eater is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and support team members in a busy breakfast environment. This role emphasizes guest engagement, prompt seating, and accurate order handling while maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing the waitlist, answering phones, and assisting with to-go orders. Prior experience is helpful but not required; 17+ years old and US work authorization are needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours) and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Familiar with Snooze service and POS/iPad systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and manage the waitlist Ipad system
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond to Guest requests and communicate with servers
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables

Host Earning Potential: $15.00 - $16.50/hour

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Is This Role For you?

• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
