Job summary

Sauced BBQ& Spirits in Sacramento is seeking a part-time Host to greet guests warmly, manage wait times, and help guests with seating.

Responsibilities include taking and ringing in orders, assisting with menu choices over the phone, packaging To Go orders, processing payments, and supporting team members; light housekeeping is also required.

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service or guest service experience preferred.
• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival or over the phone.
• Inform guests of wait times and enter guest names into the system; guide guests to their table and bid farewell when they leave.
• Assist guests in making menu selections and take and ring in orders.
• Package To Go food and beverages and process payments.
• Assist fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction and perform light housekeeping duties.

The Host greets all guests with genuine enthusiasm and warmth upon arrival or over the phone. Informs guests of their wait time, enters guest names into the computer system, shows guests to their table and bids guests farewell as they leave. Additionally, Host’s assists guests in making menu selections over the phone, takes and rings in orders, packages To Go food and beverages, processes payments, and assists fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction. Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glass and menus, and ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly are also required.
