Job summary

Ameswell in Mountain View, California is seeking a part-time Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests, manage seating and reservations, and set the tone for a memorable dining experience. You will coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service during peak hours.

The ideal candidate is guest-focused with strong communication skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and available on weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Guest relations or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast or similar restaurant systems a plus.
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism.

Description

As Host/Hostess, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests — greeting warmly, managing the flow of the dining room, and setting the tone for a memorable Ameswell dining experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Requirements

• Previous experience in guest relations or customer service preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
