Job summary

You will engage guests, recommend beverages, verify age, maintain bar cleanliness, and coordinate with teams to keep service smooth. A background in bartending and TABC certification are required, with a schedule that may include varied shifts.

Qualifications

  • Experience bartending in a fullservice or highvolume setting.
  • Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer and wine.
  • Strong guest communication, accuracy, speed, cleanliness and composure.
  • Food Handler and TABC Certification are required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages accurately and consistently.
  • Engage guests, recommend beverages and food, and communicate ingredients and preparation clearly.
  • Verify age and follow responsible alcohol-service requirements without exception.
  • Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, pars, product rotation, and security.
  • Enter orders and process checks and payments accurately.
  • Coordinate with barbacks, servers, culinary teams, and managers to maintain service flow.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
  • Bartending experience in a full-service or high-volume environment.
  • Working knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and responsible service.
  • Strong guest communication, accuracy, speed, cleanliness, and composure.
  • Food Handler and TABC Certification
Physical & Schedule Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the restaurant shift.
  • Frequently bend, reach, carry, and move through active guest and service areas.
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
  • Work around food, beverages, cleaning products, noise, and changing temperatures.
  • Maintain availability for a varied schedule that may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
