Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review assignments and gather food, beverages, equipment, linens, and service supplies.
• Load, unload, carry, set, replenish, clear, and pack event materials safely.
• Serve guests and support event flow according to the service plan and brand standards.
• Protect food quality, sanitation, alcohol compliance, and presentation at the venue.
• Communicate shortages, changes, guest needs, and safety concerns promptly.
• Leave event, vehicle, storage, and staging areas clean and organized.

The Role

The Catering Team Member helps prepare, transport, set, serve, and break down catered events with organized teamwork and genuine hospitality.

What You’ll Do

• Review assignments and help gather food, beverages, equipment, linens, and service supplies.
• Load, unload, carry, set, replenish, clear, and pack event materials safely.
• Serve guests and support event flow according to the service plan and brand standards.
• Protect food quality, sanitation, alcohol compliance, and presentation at the venue.
• Communicate shortages, changes, guest needs, and safety concerns promptly.
• Leave event, vehicle, storage, and staging areas clean and organized.

Physical & Schedule Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, load, unload, and carry materials throughout event preparation and service.
• Regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance when needed.
• Work in kitchens, loading areas, vehicles, event venues, and outdoor environments with changing temperatures.
• Travel to event sites and move safely through unfamiliar spaces while protecting food and equipment.
• Maintain availability for event-driven schedules, including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, and variable shift lengths.
