Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist-Hospitals in Boston MA to perform blood collections, prepare specimens for testing, and ensure accurate data entry. This casual/PRN role offers on‑demand hours for the 1st shift, with travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, processing billing information, and maintaining logs while delivering excellent patient service. Prior phlebotomy training or certification is preferred, with strong communication and reliability valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months experience as phlebotomist are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
