Job summary

The St. Joe Company is seeking an Hospitality Trainer to support the Training Manager in implementing programs that elevate service excellence across our properties.

This role focuses on developing, delivering, and evaluating trainings that improve guest experiences and ensure regulatory compliance. Key duties include coordinating onboarding, maintaining LMS content, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field required or equivalent practical experience in hospitality service training.
• Experience in a luxury hospitality setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and eLearning development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and delivering training that adheres to Forbes standards for housekeeping.
• Assist in developing and facilitating orientation programs for onboarding.
• Identify and organize training materials to support learning, with standardized delivery and evaluation methods.
• Collaborate with departments to assess training needs and enhance staff performance and productivity.
• Stay updated on compliance training requirements (food safety, alcohol awareness, OSHA, etc.).
• Conduct assessments and quality checks of guest service and product consistency; provide feedback.
• Assist in managing the Learning Management System and ensure content is up-to-date.
• Own the communication strategy for training initiatives through internal platforms.
• Contribute to ROI assessments for learning initiatives and reporting.
• Assist in quarterly and annual learning and development plans, including scheduling and logistics.
