Job summary

The St. Joe Company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support employees and leadership with HR services, employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, training, safety, and HR administration across the property.

The role partners with leaders to foster a positive work environment and uphold organizational standards while coordinating recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing HR processes, with travel to properties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience preferred; hospitality experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide employee relations support and guidance to leaders.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding for all properties.
• Conduct performance discussions and disciplinary actions with managers.
• Coordinate and deliver training including safety, compliance, and workplace safety.
• Administer HR records, I-9 verifications, E-Verify, and leave of absence processes.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and payroll reporting.
• Assist with safety, risk management, and workers’ compensation processes.
• Travel 2–3 times per week to St. Joe properties and corporate offices.
