Job summary

Block by Block is seeking a Hospitality Ambassador in Atlanta to maintain a friendly, safe, and clean public space during evening shifts from 2:30pm to 11:30pm, with weekend availability. You will greet pedestrians, assist with directions, and help keep areas litter-free.

Valid driver's license required; weekly pay, pay advances, health benefits, PTO, free uniforms, and supportive team culture.

Job Title: Hospitality Ambassador

Pay Range: $24.00 to $24.00 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Payday!)

Shift/Schedule:

• 2:30pm to 11:30pm

What You'll Be Doing:

• This role will provide a high level of visibility at the street level to carry out a wide variety of tasks to improve the overall experience and appearance of the zone they are assigned to. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
• Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians and visitors with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and/or city information.
• Litter removal -- While moving through the zone with a rolling trash can that has supplies/tools, remove litter: fast food bags, cups, soda cans, cigarette butts, and other debris on the streets/sidewalks and alleys. Remove graffiti and posters from light posts, trash cans, news boxes, etc. Pull weeds.
• Damp wipe and straighten outdoor surfaces, such as trash can lids, news boxes, etc.
• Be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to the Safety Ambassadors via two-way radios. Must be able to complete basic daily reports of tasks completed, which requires being proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.
