Thrive Restaurant Group in Spearfish is seeking an energetic Restaurant Hospitality Supervisor (Hourly) to lead the hospitality team and deliver outstanding guest experiences. This role focuses on coaching staff, maintaining service standards, and guiding operations to support future restaurant management growth.

You will develop teamwork, ensure food safety and sanitation, and collaborate with management on scheduling, budgeting, and daily tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a casual dining restaurant.
• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory role.
• Ability to make decisions and resolve problems.
• Able to guide, direct and motivate staff.
• Able to plan and prioritize tasks.
• Able to teach and train staff.
• Able to monitor processes, materials, and resources.
• Able to operate, repair, and maintain equipment.
• Able to perform administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the operation of the dining room and kitchen.
• Assist Managers with recruiting, leading, training, and developing the hospitality team.
• Provide vision, coaching, and feedback to ensure guest experience and service quality.
• Foster a positive team environment.
• Oversee opening and closing activities.
• Ensure excellent customer service and safety compliance.
• Monitor food and beverage delivery, portions, and presentation.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints regarding food or service.
• Perform administrative and forecasting tasks as needed.
